अभंगवारी आनंदवारी – एक भक्तिमय संगीत यात्रा!
आषाढी एकादशीच्या पावन निमित्ताने श्री विठ्ठलाला अर्पण केलेली ही एक सुमधुर गायनांजली!
संतकाव्य, अभंग आणि भक्तिगीतांनी नटलेला हा कार्यक्रम भक्तिरसाने ओथंबलेला आहे. हा दिव्य आणि अलौकिक अनुभव दोन सत्रांमध्ये रंगणार आहे.
पहिल्या सत्रात, संतसंप्रदायासंबंधी निरूपण करतील सुप्रसिद्ध विदुषी डॉ. धनश्री लेले आणि ग्वाल्हेर घराण्याच्या ख्यातनाम शास्त्रीय गायिका विदुषी मंजुषा पाटील आपली सुरेल प्रस्तुती सादर करतील.
तर दुसऱ्या सत्रात, शब्दांनी जादू करणारे कवी-गीतकार वैभव जोशी भक्तिपर कविता सादर करतील आणि सुप्रसिद्ध पार्श्वगायक आणि चित्रपट तारका आपल्या सुरेल गायन व नृत्याच्या माध्यमातून भक्तिरस साकारतील.
या सत्रात गायन सादर करणार आहेत – रोहित राऊत, जुईली जोगळेकर आणि अजित परब, तर भक्तिरसात्मक नृत्य सादर करणार आहेत – नम्रता संभेराव आणि सोनाली कुलकर्णी.
Abhangawari Anandwari - A journey of devotional music.
This is a tribute to Lord Shri Vitthal on the auspicious occasion of Ashaadhi Ekadashi.
Featuring Santkaavya, Abhangas and songs you can’t help but be swept along in the waves of devotional music.
This amazing experience will be brought to you in two parts….
In the first part, renowned orator and scholar Dr Dhanashree Lele will speak about the Sant Sampradaay. And this will be beautified and enhanced even more with a performance by the renowned Classical Singer from the Gwalior Gharana, Vidushi Manjusha Patil.
In the second part, poet-lyricist Vaibhav Joshi will weave his magic with devotional poems. And Celebrated playback singers and film stars will mesmerise you with their song and dance forms.
This session will feature singing by Rohit Raut, Juilee Joglekar and Ajit Parab. In addition Namrata Sambherao and Sonali Kulkarni will grace with their dance forms.
शब्द असतात तुमच्या आमच्या बोलण्यातले. पण गुंफले जातात असे की त्यांचा गजरा होऊन सगळीकडे सुगंध दरवळतो … आणि ह्यालाच म्हणतात कविता.
कधी प्रेमाची, कधी विरहाची, कधी दुःखाची तर कधी भक्तीची. कवीची किमयाच अशी की वाचल्यावर वाटतं की माझ्या मनात होतं ते ह्यांना कसं कळलं?
“मी कुठे म्हणतो मला दे अढळपद गगनातले
माणसांच्या काळजातच स्थान दे रे ईश्वरा“
असे लिहिणारा आणि आपल्या सर्वांच्या काळजात राहणारा कवी म्हणजे वैभव जोशी. युरोपीय मराठी संमेलनात घेऊन येत आहे त्याच्या स्वरचित कविता आणि गीतांचे भांडार!
साथीला आहे सुप्रसिद्ध लेखक आजोबांचा आणि आईकडून अप्रतिम प्रस्तूतीचा वारसा घेऊन आलेली आपल्या सगळ्यांची आवडती नायिका मृणाल कुलकर्णी.

कुणीतरी आठवण काढतंय..!
For most of us words are a simple means of communication. But these individual flowers can be strung together creating a garland, beautiful and spreading a hypnotic fragrance….and that becomes poetry.
It could be of love, separation and the deepest pain but the reader is left wondering how the poet has somehow magically described the readers own thoughts and emotions.
"Mi kuthe mhanto mala de adhalpad gaganatle
mansancha kaljatch sthan de re ishwara!"
Such has been the writings of a person truly in our hearts. That is Vaibhav Joshi. He is coming to the European Marathi Sammelan to enthral us with his poetry and songs.
Along with him we have a celebrated artist who has inherited the heritage of writing from her grandfather and presentation from her mother. Our dear Mrinal Kulkarni.

Kunitari aathvan kadhtay..!
मराठी चित्रपट म्हटलं की अगदी राजा हरिश्चंद्र नाही पण श्यामची आई पासून आपल्या आठवणी आहेतच. कायम हिंदी चित्रपट सृष्टीच्या सावलीत वावरणाऱ्या मराठी सिनेमाने निर्मिती मध्ये कधीही खुजेपणा येऊ दिला नाही! हिंदी चित्रपट सृष्टीच्या ताकदीचेच किंवा कणभर सरसच चित्रपट वेळोवेळी आपल्या समोर आणले आहेत.
मग ते राजकारणा वरील “सामना” किंवा “सिंहासन” असो अथवा सामाजिक विषयावरचे “पिंजरा” आणि “जैत रे जैत” किंवा “काक स्पर्श” असो, अथवा “उंबरठा” सारखा एखादा टाइमलेस क्लासिक असो, मराठी चित्रपट सृष्टीने जितक्या सहजतेने दादा कोंडके किंवा लक्ष्या बेर्डें चा सिनेमा हाताळला तितक्याच ताकदीने गंभीर आणि संवेदनशील सामाजिक विषय ही हाताळले!
काळा प्रमाणे जसा समाज बदलला तसाच मराठी सिनेमा पण बदलला. स्त्री-प्रधान, पाश्चात्य संस्कृती, जरी आज मराठी सिनेमात डोकावत असली आणि त्यातून निर्माण होणाऱ्या “मुंबई पुणे मुंबई” ला आपण जितके प्रशंसले इतकेच “बाई पण भारी देवा” किंवा “वळू” किंवा “कट्यार काळजात घुसली”, “मुळशी पॅटर्न” आणि “सैराट” पण आपण अनुभवले.
अश्या “नटरंगी” चंदेरी पडद्याच्या सोनेरी गोष्टी तुम्हाला जर तुम्हाला खुद्द नागराज मंजुळे आणि मृणाल कुलकर्णी ह्यांच्या कडून ऐकायला मिळाल्या तर सोन्याहून पिवळे!!
आणि मुलाखतकार मेघना एरंडे म्हणजे मनोरंजनाची गॅरंटी!
मग, येताय ना???

मराठी चित्रपट आणि आपण
When we think of our marathi cinema while we may not quite remember “Raja Harishchandra”, we definitely have memories of ‘Shyamchi Aai’.
Marathi cinema, which may have always lived in the shadow of Hindi cinema, has never allowed itself to be devalued in its production! It has matched the strength of Hindi cinema and even bringing forth some thought provoking gems from time to time.
Be it political scripts like "Saamna" or "Sinhasan", social issues based "Pinjra", "Jait Re Jait" or "Kak Sparsh", or a timeless classic like "Umbartha", Marathi cinema has handled serious and sensitive social issues with the same ease as it handled Dada Kondke or Lakshya Berde's films!
As society has changed with time, Marathi cinema has also changed. Female-dominated themes, Western culture have made their way into Marathi cinema today. Creations like “Mumbai Pune Mumbai” is enjoyed as much as we have admired and cherished “Bai Pan Bhari Deva”. “Valu” ,“Katyar Kaljaat Ghusli”, “Mulshi Pattern” and “Sairat”.
A chance to hear such “cineartistic” golden stories of the silver screen from Nagraj Manjule and Mrinal Kulkarni themselves is an invaluable and truly golden opportunity!!
And with their interviewer being Meghna Erande entertainment is guaranteed!

Do you speak Marathi ?
Yes, sure. But our kids don’t. They understand everything but are shy to speak. Afraid of making mistakes.
Oh, and what about reading or writing ?
Oh, no. We haven’t kept in touch with Marathi after school days.

We regularly hear such conversations around us. Marathi has now received the status of ‘Classic’ language. What does it imply ? Don’t we have a responsibility to generate interest about our ‘mother tongue’ in our children ?
We are going to hear this from none other than an authority on many such subjects, multi-lingual and award-winning Dr Dhanashree Lele.

It is a Ventriloquism & Puppetry based show which features the traditional Indian Puppetry forms and Ventriloquism presented by Satyajit Ramdas Padhye and his wife Rujuta.
This show will appeal to people of all age groups including children and adults.
Satyajit Ramdas Padhye is a 3rd Generation Ventriloquist and Puppeteer and son of famous Ventriloquist Ramdas Padhye.
He has appeared on several T.V.Shows and has performed with Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.
He was exclusively selected by British Band "Coldplay" to perform on their recent India tour.
The show is performed by Satyajit Padhye and his wife Rujuta who is a skilful puppeteer who assists him on stage with his performance.

This is a unique combination of culture, literature, music and humour.
For a person to be cultured, there has to be very positive influences. These are mostly in the family and at home while growing up but also influenced by events and experiences. It may be through the literature that the person is exposed to, through the music heard and enjoyed, maybe the plays and dramas .
From the mix of all this one identifies values, culture and heritage.
And like one would inherit something of monetary value from their father ….similarly the cultural influences of such paternal figures are the reason for certain aspects of richness a person may have.
This IS the reason for ‘Laabhale Aamhas Bhagya!’ with the word Baap conveying both the literal meaning of father and also ‘all the greatness’.
In 2018 this play had tremendous success when performed in EMS 2028 in Newcastle and that is why based on the same idea we are returning (Punaraagaman) !
This is a blend of prose, poetry and humour.
It is a homage to the scripts of giants from Gadkari, PL Deshpande, Atre, Mirasdar, Shankar Patil , Vyankatesh Madgulkar, Vasant Sabnis to Gangaram Gawankar.
It is also an incorporation of the poems and songs of stalwarts from Kusumagraj, GD Madgulkar, Suresh Bhat, Shanta Shelke , Bahinabai to Vaibhav Joshi, Sandeep Khare and Kishore Kadam.
It has a stellar star cast with punchy performances.
